Bajaj Auto has launched the Dominar 400 at an introductory price of INR 1,36,000 for the non-ABS version and INR 1,50,000 for the ABS version. The Dominar 400 will be available at Bajaj showrooms from 15th December and bookings can be made online at Bajaj website.
Bajaj Dominar 400 comes with more than 100 new features, however, according to the company, the highlights of the bike are the overall styling, LED headlamps and display, brakes with dual channel ABS, excellent performance and ride and handling balance.
The Dominar 400 is the first bike from Bajaj to come with an all-digital LCD-instrument cluster. It offers a host of information like – tachometre, odometre, speedometre, fuel gauge, clock, and ABS indicator.
The first motorcycle was rolled out in November from the assembly line at the Chakan plant. The Dominar 400 concept was first shown at the 2014 Auto Expo called the Pulsar CS400. However, Bajaj later planned to create a whole new brand. The VS400 was another name used for this bike, which means Vantage Sport. The company later decided to go with Kratos which essentially means the God of War. Yet again, the name changed earlier this month. Finally, Dominar has been chosen as the name of this eagerly awaited motorcycle. Dominar is derived from dominate and the suffix ar is meant as a tribute to the Pulsar lineup.
